Year 1 Class Teacher – September 2025 Start Location: Hounslow Contract: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: September 2025
A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Hounslow is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 1 Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025.
The Role: As the Year 1 Class Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
*
Support the transition from Early Years into Key Stage 1, fostering independence and a love of learning
*
Assess and track pupil progress, tailoring support where needed
*
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
Person Specification:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
*
Strong understanding of early literacy and numeracy development
*
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
*
A nurturing, reflective and motivated approach
