Year 1 Primary Teacher - KS1**

Aspire People are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic **Year 1 Teacher** to join a welcoming and supportive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for both **ECTs and experienced teachers** looking to develop within a strong KS1 setting.

Year 1 is a crucial transition year, and the school is looking for a teacher who can support pupils moving from EYFS into more structured learning while maintaining a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.

**The Role:**
* Full class teaching responsibility within a Year 1 classroom
* Delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
* Supporting early phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy development
* Creating a smooth transition from EYFS to KS1 learning styles
* Assessing and tracking pupil progress
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Experience within EYFS or KS1 (placements accepted for ECTs)
* Strong understanding of early phonics and child development
* Patient, creative, and engaging teaching style
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
