We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming academy in Croydon that is seeking a Year 1 Class Teacher to join their team, on a one-year fixed-term contract starting in September 2025. This is a three-form entry school with approximately 250 pupils, known for its strong community focus and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons

* Monitor pupil progress through assessments

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status

* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1

* Solid understanding of the national curriculum

* A collaborative, professional, and reflective approach

* Full enhanced DBS and professional reference check

* A strong communication, with confident classroom management
