This role is ideal for someone currently working in vehicle prep, a workshop, or a junior technician role who wants to move into something more specialised.

Day to day, youll be carrying out the core workshop work that everything else relies on including removing wheels, arch liners and undertrays, preparing vehicles, cleaning, and helping maintain high standards across the workshop.

This is a physical, hands-on role, and some parts of the work can be demanding and require patience.

Were looking for someone who can stay focused, take care, and do the job properly not just rush through it or take the easy option.

From there, well train you into: Underbody rust treatment and protection work Application of specialist coatings Dry ice blasting, as you progress Dry ice blasting is not the starting point, its something youll build into once youre confident in the foundations of the role.

Were looking for someone who: Has good mechanical confidence with wheels, trims, and basic strip-down work Comes from a workshop, prep, or similar hands-on environment Has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in their work Is hardworking, reliable, and wants to improve This is a genuine opportunity to move from a standard workshop or prep role into a more specialised area of the automotive industry, with clear progression as your skills develop.

Pay & Progression £13.00£14.50 per hour depending on experience.
