Workshop Technician – St Albans We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join our team based in St Albans.Location St AlbansWorking Hours Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (including a 1-hour lunch break)Employment Type Full-time – Temporary to Permanent, with contract or permanent options availableSalary £25,000 – £27,500 per annum (dependent on experience)Due to the location and working hours, access to your own vehicle is essential. Key Responsibilities Assemble cable assemblies, electronic sub-assemblies, and equipment casesSolder cable assemblies, connectors, and printed circuit boards (PCBs)Carry out mechanical assembly of monitoring equipment and systemsTest and configure electrical and electronic monitoring equipmentRepair electrical and electronic monitoring equipment as requiredMonitor stock levels of critical components and partsSupport production with bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and documentationMaintain a clean and organised workshop environment Candidate Profile Positive and proactive attitude with a strong commitment to qualityExcellent attention to detail and accuracyWell organised with the ability to manage workload effectivelyA team player who supports colleagues when neededReliable, punctual, and dependable Desirable Skills and Experience Previous experience in electronics assembly, soldering, or a similar technical roleBasic understanding of electronic components and equipment Benefits 25 days annual leave plus Bank HolidaysJBRP1_UKTJ
