Location:North West
Salary:£50,000 £54,000 + 10% Bonus + Overtime + 33 Days Holiday

The Opportunity

As Workshop Manager, you will lead a team of 11 engineers within a workshop environment, ensuring high standards of productivity, quality, and continuous improvement. Youll also act as the primary technical contact for both customers and suppliers.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining team management with technical involvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 11 engineers
  • Drive productivity, quality standards, and operational processes
  • Deliver training and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Act as the main technical point of contact for customers and suppliers

About You

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Team Leader
  • Strong technical knowledge of gearboxes, motors, engines, pumps, and rotating equipment
  • Hands-on experience with stripping, inspection, and repair of mechanical components
  • Ambitious and ready to progress into a Workshop Manager role
  • Comfortable with travel and working across multiple sites
