Job Description Kinetic AI is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Workshop Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our high-tech fabrication and prototyping workshop. Our environment combines additive and subtractive manufacturing, robotics, kinetic systems, electronics, and rapid prototyping . \n The successful candidate will oversee workshop workflows, manage a multidisciplinary team, maintain and optimise advanced equipment, and uphold the highest standards of safety, precision, and efficiency.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a technically skilled leader to help shape the operational backbone of an innovative technology company. \n Lead, supervise, and coordinate all workshop activities, ensuring tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and to Kinetic AI’s quality standards*. \n Oversee maintenance, calibration, and repair of 3D printers, laser systems, CNC equipment, electronics benches, and prototyping machinery*, ensuring minimal downtime.
\n Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, CAD files, and digital fabrication models*. \n Operate and train others on hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (if applicable), fabrication machines, and robotic systems*. \n Conduct regular inspections and implement preventative maintenance programmes* across all workshop systems.
