We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.The below job description will outline this position of: Workshop EngineerTypically, this person will be inspecting, repairing, refurbing engines and engine parts such as pistons, liners, blocks etc, ensuing the items they work on are fit for purpose, within tight and right tolerances, ensuring the parts perfect and ready to go.HSB Technicals client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.Duties and responsibilities of the Workshop Engineer:When Required: Strip, repair, clean and overhaul major componentsDimensional (using measuring equipment) and NDT inspection, ensuring the quality of the components worked onComponent inspection, scrap and/or overhaul and rebuild reports for finished productsDesirable: Ability to use all or some of the workshop machinery, including but not limited to; valve/valve seat cutting and grinding tools, cylinder liner honing eqEuipment, basic welding techniques, grinding machines and equipment, pressure testing equipment, hydraulic tensioning equipment.Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions, able to follow work cards and component assembly instructions to the highest standardsQualifications and requirement for the Workshop Engineer:Driving Licence This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role.JBRP1_UKTJ
