The Role Permanent Full Time Deritend, part of the Rubix Group, provide 24/7 engineering services. We repair, overhaul, install, and maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, hydraulic equipment and cover a wide range of industrial equipment for customers across multiple sectors.
The Technician role is a multi-skilled position, responsible for the installation, assembly, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of industrial systems and equipment. Key Responsibilities Analyse job cards and work instructions to determine scope, status, limitations, and requirements. Inspect, test, assemble, and commission industrial equipment to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal standards. Carry out fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Record in detail work undertaken, parts used, and time spent, ensuring accurate completion of job documentation. Use precision measuring equipment such as Vernier's, micrometers, and dial test indicators. Operate workshop and site equipment safely, in line with training and company procedures.
