NES Fircroft are supporting a major oilfield services client in the search for a Workshop Electrician to join their team in Montrose.

Mon–Thu: 07:00–16:15 Fri: 07:00–12:00 Weekly Hours: 40 Overtime: x1.5 standard OT Saturdays: x2 after 4 hours Sundays: x2 Travel: Some ad-hoc travel may be requiredAs a Workshop Electrician, you will be responsible for the repair, inspection, and overhaul of rig equipment within a busy aftermarket operations environment. You will support critical “rig down” situations and ensure equipment is returned to safe, reliable working condition. This role involves working across a range of equipment.

Key Responsibilities Repair, overhaul, inspect, and identify faults on rig equipment. Produce and update documentation (inspection reports, parts lists, etc.). Read, interpret, and amend engineering drawings and schematics. Liaise with customers, planning teams, and internal departments. Escalate key faults and track them through to resolution.
