Workshop Controller - South Oxford Area Hours:Monday to Friday,Saturday mornings on a rota Salary:£36,427 per annum + bonus, OTE £44,000 + Ref:30272 This is working for one of the UKs largest car dealership groups with over 100 branches nationwide. They are an official franchised dealer for many of the countrys top car and commercial vehicle brands,including Audi, VW, JLR & more. They also provide modern and practical training to help people progress to a high level. Workshop Controller DutiesLead, support, and coach a team of Vehicle Technicians, developing skills and fostering a high-performance cultureAccurately interpret and communicate customer requirements across the workshop team to ensure service excellenceEfficiently plan and allocate work based on technician skill sets and availability to maximise productivityEnsure compliance with manufacturer service standards and maintain customer satisfaction metricsMonitor workflow and job progress, reallocating tasks as needed to meet deadlines and efficiency targetsLiaise with internal departments and external customers for vehicle collections, deliveries, and service updatesManage parts ordering through the dealerships workflow system; ensure accurate job number matching and storage in designated parts racksMaintain workshop efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to health & safety protocols Key RequirementsPrevious experience as a Workshop Controller.
