Salary: £30,000 basic + £36,000 OTE
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Mon to Fri 8am to 6pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:30 - 12:30.

A respected, nationwide automotive group is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join its busy Birmingham dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment and enjoys coordinating people, processes, and performance.

What Youll Be Doing Allocating work to Technicians and ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity targets are consistently met

Working closely with Service Advisors to manage workflow and keep customers informed

Monitoring workshop performance to ensure all jobs are completed within agreed timescales

Identifying and resolving operational issues quickly and effectively

Supporting the workshop team to maintain high standards of workmanship and customer care

What Were Looking For Previous experience in the automotive industry, ideally as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

Confident communicator who can work effectively across departments

A proactive leader who can motivate and support a team to achieve targets

Professional, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to customer satisfaction
