Due to recent expansion, we are looking to on-board two additional workplace assessors covering Glasgow & Strathclyde Region Tayside & Fife Region MGT Training has been successfully delivering workplace training and qualifications throughout Scotland for nearly 2 decades. The current portfolio sees engagement with around 30 unique employers delivering Modern Apprenticeships, Industry related products and services to over 200 sites throughout Scotland. Current clients include Royal & Ancient, McDonald's, Aramark, Whitbread, Greeneking, Mitchells & Butlers, and Subway.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and assessment of employees and apprentices in workplaces throughout these regions, with the role primarily existing within the vocational education and training sector.

Assessment Delivery - Conduct regular assessment visits to workplaces, providing constructive feedback and guidance to learners on their performance and identifying areas for improvement. Assessment Competency - Observe and assess employees' practical skills and competencies in their workplace environment, ensuring they meet the national standards and occupational requirements. Evidence Collection - Guide and support learners in gathering appropriate evidence of their competence, such as work samples, observations, witness testimonies, and written statements. Effective Communication - Build rapport with learners, employers, MGT Training colleagues and regulatory bodies such as SQA and Skills Development Scotland. Administration Completing and maintaining accurate records and documents to both MGT Training Standards and Regulatory standards.

Subject Knowledge Strong knowledge of the Hospitality, Management, Retail and Business sectors is essential in the areas where training and assessment will be taking place. Engage with employers and learners to enrol in the relevant qualification, meeting relevant sales targets. Standards Familiarisation Familiar with the standards and regulatory requirements of the SQA and other certification bodies, including MA Online Occupational Competency in the following sectors: Hospitality, Management, Retail and Business. Understanding of assessment principles, methodologies, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with learners, employers, and training providers. Holds a L&D9DI (Formally A1 assessors qualification)
