We are recruiting a Wok chef for a restaurant chain which is one of the fast growing restaurant group. Duties and Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking dishes: This includes stir-fries, noodles, rice dishes, and other Asian-inspired meals, often requiring proficiency in high-heat cooking techniques. Maintaining quality and consistency: Ensuring that dishes are cooked to perfection, maintaining proper texture and flavor, and adhering to specific recipes or standards Ensuring food safety and hygiene: Maintaining a clean and sanitized work area, following food safety guidelines, and adhering to HACCP standards. Working with a team: Often collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service, sometimes involving training and mentoring of junior cook Kitchen operations: May also be involved in tasks like cleaning, equipment maintenance, and adhering to restaurant policies. Knife skills and other techniques: Proficiency in using knives and other kitchen tools, and adapting to different cooking methods.
