Job Description: LRL are currently recruiting for experienced Wiremen to work on a substation project in Ipswich , starting Monday 4th August 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major infrastructure programme within the power and utilities sector.
Candidates must hold a valid National Grid Person (NGP) , as this work will be carried out within a live substation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Wiring, cable containment, terminations, and glanding within HV substations
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and layout drawings
Completing control panel and junction box installations
