We are partnered with a power generation company who are growing their production team in Lenham, Kent.

We are looking for a Wireman, whether you’re an experienced panel builder or someone with basic electrical knowledge looking to develop, this role offers a supportive workshop environment with opportunities to grow your skills.

You’ll be involved in assembling and wiring electrical control panels, working from technical drawings and contributing to the smooth running of the production workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

• The production of control panels to the company standards, on time and in accordance with the technical requirements of the drawings.
• Follow company quality assurance procedures and RAMS when using power equipment.
• Inform the Design Engineers of any issues with design information or equipment.
• Good housekeeping, working with a clean and tidy conduct.
• Other ad-hoc activities as requested for business need.

Requirements & Desirable:

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• Able to follow technical drawings
• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• City & Guilds in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Panel Wiring.
• Training in control panel assembly or switchgear.
• Basic first aid or workshop safety certifications (manual handling, electrical safety).
• Experience with prefabrication, industrial automation panels, or fabrication-level wiring.
