Service Care Legal are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Chelmsford is looking to recruit a Wills & Probate Solicitor (2–5 years’ PQE) to join its busy and supportive Private Client team.

This opportunity would suit a solicitor who enjoys client-facing work and takes pride in delivering clear, sensitive and practical advice during what can be a challenging time for clients.

ROLE:                  Wills & Probate Solicitor
LOCATION:         Chelmsford
SALARY:              £45,000 to £60,000 per annum

The Role

Managing a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters, from straightforward estates through to more complex cases
Advising clients on Grants of Probate, estate administration, asset distribution and estate finalisation
Handling matters involving Inheritance Tax, trusts and estate planning issues where required
Providing a high level of client care, guiding individuals and families through the process with empathy and professionalism
The Person

Qualified solicitor with 2–5 years’ PQE in wills, probate and estate administration
Confident handling matters with minimal supervision, while contributing positively to a team environment
Strong communication skills with a client-focused, compassionate approach
