You’ll be responsible for identifying, approaching and converting new wholesale customers across the UK.Target customers include:Independent delisFarm shopsGarden centresArtisan food retailersIndependent grocery storesYou will be:Prospecting and researching new retail leadsCold calling and emailing potential stockistsBooking and attending in-person meetingsPresenting and sampling productsNegotiating and closing wholesale agreementsManaging your own pipeline and reporting on performanceBuilding long-term customer relationshipsRepresenting Percy's at trade showsThis role requires someone comfortable being on the road, on the phone, and proactively opening doors.What We’re Looking ForWe’re less concerned with years of experience and more interested in attitude and ambition.You might be right for this role if you are:Highly motivated and target drivenConfident making cold calls and approaching new businessesOrganised and self-disciplined (home-based role)Commercially mindedPassionate about food, retail or challenger brandsResilient and comfortable with rejectionPrevious sales experience is desirable but not essential.
