Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with a passion for supporting children with additional learning needs? We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming and supportive school in the CF5 area of Cardiff.

This role is offered through Teaching Personnel, with the opportunity to make a real difference in pupils’ lives until the end of the summer term.

The Role:

Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 and small group basis

Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities

Encouraging engagement, independence, and confidence

Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Using Welsh language skills daily in the classroom

✅ Requirements:

Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)

Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable)

Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
