Are you a passionate Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming primary school setting in Neath Port Talbot?

At TeacherActive, we are proud to be working with fantastic primary schools across Neath Port Talbot who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a full-time basis.

The Role

As a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils in a vibrant primary classroom
Deliver and assist with activities through the medium of Welsh
Provide 1:1 and small group support
Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
Work closely with the class teacher to support pupil progress

‍ What We’re Looking For

Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
Minimum 6 months’ experience working with children (voluntary experience or transferable skills are welcome!)
A caring, patient and proactive attitude
Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
Whether your experience comes from schools, youth work, sports coaching, care work, or voluntary roles – we’d love to hear from you!
