Role: Welder/Fabricator

Location: Kettering

Salary: Up to 40k depending on experience

Our client is currently seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join a growing engineering and manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welder with fabrication skills who enjoys working on a variety of projects and producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG / TIG / MMA welding on a range of metal components
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts
  • Cut, shape and prepare materials using fabrication tools and machinery
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
  • Carry out inspections and basic maintenance on welding equipment
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator
  • Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong fabrication and metalworking skills
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work safely in a workshop environment
  • Welding certifications or relevant engineering qualifications
  • Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, or aluminium
