With a busy pipeline of work and secured contracts, they are looking to expand their team with experienced Fabricator Welders.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs a Fabricator Welder, you will be working independently and in small teams to deliver high-quality fabrication and welding as part of rail vehicle repair and overhaul projects.\n\nDuties include:\n\n* Interpreting engineering drawings to fabricate components in the workshop\n* MIG and TIG welding in all positions (Vertical Up / Overhead)\n* Working with Aluminium and Mild Steel\n* Using fabrication tools, including Oxy-Acetylene for material manipulation\n* Following WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications)\n* Basic stripping/fitting tasks to access repair areas\n* Occasional travel and work on various sites and depots across the UK\n\nRequirements:\n\n* Proficient in reading technical/engineering drawings\n* Competent in MIG and TIG welding in all positions\n* Willingness to travel and work away when required\n* Strong team player with excellent communication skills\n* Relevant welding/fabrication certifications (advantageous)\n* Previous rail industry experience ( but not essential)\n\nWeld Test Required:\n\nTo be considered, all candidates must complete a weld test:\n* MIG on Mild Steel - Butt and Fillet Welds (2mm & 6mm, Vertical Up & Overhead)\n\nInterested?\nSend your CV to: (url removed)\n\nPlease Note: All candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening
