Welder

Are you an experienced Welder looking to join a true industry leader?

Our client, a premier sheet metal specialist based in Harlow, is expanding their team. Operating from an impressive 50,000 sq. ft. facility, they have spent nearly 50 years building a reputation for excellence in high-quality subcontracting across the UK.

We are seeking a skilled individual who is fully competent in both MIG and TIG welding to help maintain these exacting standards. If you take pride in precision and want to work in a high-spec environment, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute high-quality welds on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components.

* Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and strict quality standards.

* Conduct thorough self-inspections of finished welds to ensure all work meets close tolerance specifications and internal quality benchmarks.

* Manufacture small-volume parts with high accuracy, ensuring all components meet the required design intent.

* Work effectively within a production team to meet deadlines and contribute to a positive, solution-oriented workshop environment.

Requirements, Skills & Experience:

* At least 1-2 years’ experience in a welding role.

* Fully competent in both MIG and TIG welding.

* Ability to produce neat, precise work with an eye for detail.

* A positive attitude and a track record of being on time.

* Experience in Aerospace or Defence is a plus, but not essential.
