Job Description
Welder Coventry £15/hour Days Full-Time Permanent
Are you a skilled Welder looking for a steady dayshift, early finish Fridays and a workshop where your work actually matters? Join a well-established metal fabrication business in Coventry, known for producing quality metal components for the automotive aftermarket and sub-contract fabrication markets.
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their welds, enjoys variety, and wants to be part of a hands-on, skilled team.
What's on Offer:
\n Hourly Rate: Up to £15.00/hour (depending on experience)

Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 16:00
\n
Friday: 07:00 11:00 (early finish!)
\n
\n
\n
Contract: Permanent, full-time
\n
Overtime: Available during busy periods, paid at enhanced rates
\n
Location: Coventry easily accessible from Nuneaton, Bedworth, Hinckley, Rugby, and Leamington Spa
\n
Welder Key Duties:
\n MIG and/or TIG welding of mild and stainless steel components
\n
Working from fabrication drawings, templates and technical instructions
\n
Producing one-off and small batch welded parts for automotive and industrial use
\n
Assisting with general fabrication and fitting work as needed
\n
Maintaining clean welds with good penetration, finish and alignment
\n
Working as part of a team on both bespoke and repeat production work
\n
\n
What You'll Need:
\n Experience as a Welder, Fabricator/Welder or MIG/TIG Welder
\n
Confident welding mild and/or stainless steel
\n
Ability to read engineering drawings and work to spec
\n
A practical, hands-on approach and a strong attention to detail
\n
Good team player, reliable and self-motivated
\n
\n
