WELDER / FABRICATOR – Twycross, Atherstone

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Welder / Fabricator to join our well-established client based in Twycross, Atherstone on a temporary to permanent basis. Day-to-Day Duties

As a Welder / Fabricator, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  •  Performing high-quality MIG aluminium welding
  •  Reading and accurately interpreting technical drawings
  •  Handling and storing materials safely within the workshop
  •  Carrying out routine maintenance on machinery and tools
  •  Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot production issues
  •  Applying mathematical skills for measurements and production calculations
  •  Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures
  •  Supporting general workshop tasks and assisting colleagues when required

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Welder / Fabricator, you will need:

  •  Proven experience in MIG welding (aluminium preferred)
  •  Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  •  Experience in materials handling and hand tool use
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  •  Good communication skills
  •  Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail
  •  Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software

Training Provided

  •  Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
