Job Overview

AC Autowerks is recruiting an experienced Welder Fabricator / MIG TIG Welder to join our automotive workshop in Bridgend. This role is ideal for a skilled welder with experience in fabrication, vehicle panel fitting, and automotive welding.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Fabrication and fitting of vehicle body panels

* Fitting of pre-made automotive panels

* MIG welding on automotive and sheet metal components

* Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts

* Working from measurements and drawings

* Ensuring high-quality workmanship and safe working practices

Skills and Experience Required

* Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, MIG Welder, or TIG Welder

* Automotive, bodywork, or panel fabrication experience

* Confident welding thin gauge metal

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong attention to detail and reliability

Desirable Skills

* Experience in automotive restoration, custom vehicles, or performance cars

* Previous workshop or garage-based welding experience

* Tig welding
