Position: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Liverpool (Workshop Based)
⏱ Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week + Regular OT
Pay: Competitive rate of pay (DOE)
The Role
Time Recruitment are currently working with a well‑established and growing engineering company based in Liverpool. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join their workshop team.
This role would suit a skilled individual who takes pride in their workmanship, can accurately read fabrication drawings, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced, quality‑driven environment producing structural steelwork and bespoke fabrications.
Key Responsibilities
Welding and fabricating structural steel and bespoke components
Working from fabrication and engineering drawings
MIG, ARC and TIG welding to a high standard
Cutting, grinding, and preparation of materials
Ensuring work meets quality, safety, and specification requirements
Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Working as part of a close‑knit team to meet production deadlines
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator
Competent in MIG welding (essential)
Experience in ARC and TIG welding
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
Experience with structural steelwork and bespoke fabrication
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential)
Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications
Experience in a workshop‑based manufacturing environment
Flexibility to work overtime when required
