WELDER / FABRICATOR Location - Huddersfield Salary: Competitive - based on experience Hours: Mon-Thu 06:00-16:30

We're working with a fast-growing manufacturer who is expanding their fabrication team and looking for skilled Free-Hand Rail Fabricators / Welders to join their operation. If you love bringing technical drawings to life, enjoy MIG/TIG work, and want to make products that genuinely improve lives - this one's for you.
THE ROLE - WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You'll be hands-on every day, responsible for:

\n Fabricating and welding stairlift components using MIG, TIG & free-build techniques \n
\n
Working from technical drawings with precision
\n
Following standardised methods, tolerances and best-practice guidelines
\n
Keeping your workspace safe & tidy (Zero Harm culture)
\n
Hitting quality standards and working efficiently
\n
Supporting continuous improvement - reducing waste - sharing ideas
\n
(Optional) Training to operate laser cutting / bending machinery
\n
\n
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We want someone who brings:

\n A positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude
\n
Welding/Fabricator qualifications or 3+ years' experience \n
\n
Reliability and pride in your work
\n
Strong understanding of H&S
\n
Ability to read & interpret technical drawings
\n
Experience with hand tools / grinders
\n
Team spirit AND the drive to work independently
\n
Willingness to learn new machinery and methods
\n
\n
