Welder / Fabricator
Location: Honiton
Pay: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour
Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their busy factory team. The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic, and proactive in supporting welding and fabrication requirements.
Key Responsibilities
General fabrication: cutting, drilling, sawing, and metal work
Reading and working from drawings accurately
Operating equipment safely and following procedures
Keeping work areas clean and safe
Reporting defects promptly
Supporting other teams when required
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year TIG welding experience
Competent in TIG/MIG welding and sheet metal work
Ability to read machine drawings accurately
Good communication and attention to detail
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience with hand tools is an advantage
