Contract: Temporary on-going (could go perm for right person)
Hours: Friday - Sunday (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am)

An opportunity has arisen for General Operative for our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk
As the General Operative your duties will include:
* Operate and maintain a variety of machinery including lathes, milling machines, drilling rigs and cutting equipment
* Set up, align and calibrate tooling, work‑holders and fixtures for machining components
* Assemble machined parts, carry out finishing operations
* Monitor machine performance, conduct routine checks, perform basic maintenance, and report issues promptly.
An ideal candidate for the General Operative will have:
* Familiarity with machining previously.
* Available to work weekends
