ASAM is a £10‑15m+ revenue segment and this is a major growth area for the company.

The firm prides itself on a friendly, warm and engaging culture, very different to the "corporate cultures" at many consulting firms. The firm is agile and flexible to respond to needs, with people highly visible in small teams. One Director hire made last year has already stepped up to lead a major industry vertical for the company, and a meritocratic system encourages new ideas and creativity at every level.

The work is largely strategic, with small teams. Projects tend to be CTO or COO sponsored and cover middle/back office, operations, strategy and outsourcing. Projects often examine:

• Operating model design/redesign
• Middle and back office transformation
• Outsourcing strategy and roadmaps
• Cost efficiency and operational excellence
• Quality assurance for change programmes or maximizing spend on key initiatives
• AI and use cases across customer strategy, operational improvement and process/automation across ASAM businesses

Examples of live programmes

• Ideas generation for the Global COO of an asset manager on business structure and potential launch countries
• Support for a major outsourcing deal across a 3-year picture
• Remediation of a self-reported issue to the FCA; providing strategy and remediation plans
• AI strategy and use cases for a major asset manager across customer operations

We are looking for

• A track record of delivering quality work in the asset and wealth management industry
• Consulting experience and a proven ability to deliver for clients of all shapes and sizes
• SME knowledge in one or more areas of the asset and wealth industry
• A record of building a network, either from scratch (business development/sales) or through exceptional client delivery; often new clients are secured via existing client requests
• A comfort with dual roles (50:50 delivery and business building) – a 70–80% delivery focus may also be considered for the right individual
• Alignment with the firm's friendly, inclusive culture deliberately built over the past 20 years

Salary is 110–138k base with an average bonus of 25–30%, plus multipliers for personal and team performance.
