Job Title: M&E Maintenance Engineer (Water Systems experience)

Location: Colchester, Essex

Package: £45,219

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm or 9am – 6pm (Out of Hours On-Call Rota 1 in 3 weeks, £100 standby)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join my client’s team, covering a commercial site in Colchester. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to be part of a dynamic and well-established company that values quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on mechanical, electrical and water systems.

* Perform inspections and checks to building equipment and systems such as generators, AHU/FCU’s, motors, pumps, LTHWS etc.

* Perform maintenance and tests on fire alarms, emergency lighting, sprinklers, TMV’s, cooling towers, calorifiers and other compliance.

* Monitor and manage BMS

* Diagnose and resolve M&E faults quickly and efficiently.

* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

* Level 3 equivalent in an Engineering related field – Mechanical or Electrical discipline

* Water Treatment/Systems or L8 Experience

* Proven experience in a similar building maintenance role.

* Enhanced DBS will be carried out
