Water Hygiene Engineer
Oxfordshire/Berkshire (Field-based, UK travel required)

• Full time, permanent (Monday Friday)
• £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Role

Were looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join our skilled and supportive hygiene team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out temperature monitoring, routine sampling, and system checks
• Inspect and clean Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWSTs) and hot water storage vessels
• Perform cleaning and disinfection of water systems, showerheads, and outlets
• Collect and record accurate site data and service reports
• Ensure full compliance with ACoP L8 and HSG274 Part 2
• Build positive client relationships and represent H2O Environmental professionally
• Travel nationwide as required to support contracts

The Ideal Candidate:

Youll be a proactive and professional engineer with a strong understanding of water hygiene practices and Legionella control standards. Youll take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail, and be comfortable working independently on client sites. About you:

• Previous experience in a Water Hygiene or Water Treatment Technician role
• Solid knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and Water Regulations
• A full UK driving licence (essential)
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
• Flexibility to travel throughout the UK
• A professional, customer-focused attitude
