Account Manager - Equipment Sales Salary: £45,000-£53,000 basic (DOE) + car allowance + commission + bonus Location: London & South East (field-based) A well-established water hygiene and compliance company is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join its growing Equipment Sales team. This role focuses on managing an existing portfolio of M&E consultant clients while developing new business opportunities across the London and South East region. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing product specifications, managing projects through to site, and negotiating orders with M&E contractors. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders including Mechanical Engineers, Project Managers, and Buyers, ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and grow an existing M&E consultant client base * Identify and develop new business opportunities * Secure technical specifications and convert them into orders * Attend client meetings and deliver sales presentations * Negotiate commercial terms while maintaining profitability * Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and engineering teams * Maintain knowledge of industry regulations (ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01) Requirements: * Minimum 5 years' experience in account management or business development * Background in construction, building services, or water hygiene preferred * Strong communication and relationship-building skills Package & Benefits: * £45,000-£53,000 basic salary * Car allowance, commission, and bonuses * Pension, healthcare, and 22 days holiday + bank holidays * Full training and clear career progression Apply today or contact Mollie Caswell at Penguin Recruitment for more information.
