Job Description
Your new company \nYou will be joining a forward-thinking Waste Management Service, committed to delivering high-quality waste operations and compliance across multiple sites. The team is focused on innovation, safety, and excellent customer service.\n\nYour new role \nAs a Waste Management Technician, you will play a key role in supporting operational and compliance functions. Your responsibilities will include:\n\nHandling low-level customer complaints (face-to-face, phone, email).\nUsing MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) for data entry, reporting, and presentations.\nAssisting with supervision of low/medium value waste-related contracts.\nSupporting development of Health & Safety and Quality Management systems.\nDelivering training packages and assisting operatives with online learning.\nAssisting with recruitment processes.\nOperating weighbridge systems (training provided).\nManaging stock control and ordering.\nWearing PPE and Body Worn Camera (reasonable adjustments considered).This is a technical role, requiring strong Excel skills and the ability to quickly learn software packages such as Weighbridge systems, H&S incident recording software, and waste management data systems.
Technical skills may be tested at interview.\nThe base will be Whetstone/ Hybrid, with flexibility for home working subject to performance. Attendance at Whetstone and other local sites is vital.
