Our client based in Bedford are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader on a late shift. The role involves:- * Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives * Assign and monitor daily tasks to ensure timely and accurate order picking * Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates * Promote and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures * Conduct regular safety inspections and address any identified hazards * Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements * Oversee the picking process to ensure accuracy and efficiency * Monitor workflow and adjust staffing levels as needed to meet operational demands * Ensure all picked orders meet quality standards and customer requirements * Conduct random checks on picked orders to verify accuracy * Address any discrepancies or errors promptly * Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the picking team * Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members * Identify training needs and coordinate training * Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy * Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to share best practices and drive overall warehouse performance * As a key holder you will participate in an on-call rota with other Managers/Supervisors for any security issues/breaches out of hours and will be required to comply with security requirements when opening and locking the site If you have the following:- * Counterbalance & Reach licenses * At least 3 years experience within a management role
