Were looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor (Nights) to join one of our prestigious, global clients based in Slough!
Youll be responsible for overseeing the night shift warehouse operation within a fast-paced air freight cargo environment, ensuring the smooth running of both warehouse and transport activities. This is a hands-on role where youll lead from the front, supporting the team while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency and accuracy.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing international logistics operation where youll play a key role in supervising the warehouse function and supporting ongoing operational performance.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position working night shifts on a 4-on-4-off rotation!
What youll be doing
Overseeing the warehouse operation throughout the night shift
Leading and supervising warehouse operatives and liaising with drivers
Acting as the main point of contact for night operations staff
Loading and unloading cargo from vehicles and trailers
Building and breaking down aircraft pallets
Cross-checking paperwork against cargo to ensure accuracy
Supporting and participating in general warehouse duties
Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed and promoted
Providing a detailed handover to the oncoming shift and operations team
Reporting into the Management team

4-on-4-off shift pattern (Nights)
7:00pm 7:00am
Pay
£37,000 per annum
Skills/Experience Required
Previous experience within an air freight cargo warehouse is essential
Proven experience in a supervisory or senior warehouse role
A valid FLT Counterbalance licence (internal or external) is required
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good time management and organisational abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Good understanding of warehouse health & safety practices
