Warehouse Operative - Chelmsford - Up to £30,000 per annum - Permanent, Full Time

** Own transport essential due to location

We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a growing business in Chelmsford due to expansion and increased workload. This is a hands on, fast paced role suited to someone with a good work ethic and recent warehouse or fulfilment experience.

You will be working as part of a team to ensure productivity targets are met while maintaining quality and accuracy across all tasks.

Duties:

Picking and packing orders accurately

*

Carrying out quality checks

*

Supporting production duties, including use of machinery (full training provided)

*

Using handheld scanners and PC systems

*

Working to production KPIs to ensure team productivity

*

Maintaining a clean and organised work area

The applicant:

*

Recent experience in a warehouse or fulfilment environment

*

Backgrounds considered from retail warehouses, courier companies, manufacturing, or fulfilment centres

*

Comfortable using handheld scanners and PC systems

*

Reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude

*

Able to work at pace and meet productivity targets

*

Willingness to learn and follow processes

What’s on offer:

Salary up to £30,000 per annum

Permanent, stable employment

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm / 45 hours paid per week

21 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

Holiday entitlement increases with length of service
