I am currently recruiting a Warehouse Driver/Operative to join a successful and growing company based in Southampton, Hampshire. The successful Warehouse Driver/Operative will be responsible for delivering products to local clients and during quiet periods, working in the warehouse, picking materials using forklift, loading, and unloading vehicles.\n\nWarehouse Driver/Operative Responsibilities\n\n * Ensure materials are picked, packed & processed efficiently and in full, to meet customers’ delivery requirements.\n\n * Loading and unloading lorries in a safe and legal manner using forklift.\n\n * Deliver products to local clients.\n\nWarehouse Driver/Operative Requirements:\n\n * The successful candidate must have a strong warehouse or logistics background.\n\n * HGV Class 2 license - essential.\n\n * Forklift license is beneficial.\n\n * CPC card is essential.\n\nWarehouse Driver/Operative Benefits:\n\n * £30,000 annual salary.\n\n * Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm – flexible to meet business needs.\n\n * 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.\n\n * Company pension scheme.\n\n * Company profit share scheme.\n\nNOTE – Our client encourages applications from candidates from both commercial and ex-military backgrounds; Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force with Logistics / Warehouse experience
