My client is a well-established family run company in Huntingdon who are looking for a Delivery & Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis. Main Duties * Unloading deliveries and checking goods for damage or defects * Booking stock in and out using internal systems * Preparing furniture, including drilling accurate hinge holes – precision is key * Handling and moving heavy furniture and appliances * Delivering goods to client properties – some deliveries may involve stairs in flats or apartments * Driving a 3.5-ton van to complete deliveries * Representing the company professionally in client homes – politeness and respect are essential Skills / Requirements * Must be 25 or older (for van insurance purposes) * Full UK driving licence * Confident driving a 3.5-ton van * Physically fit and capable of manual handling * Strong attention to detail and accuracy when preparing furniture * Excellent customer service skills – courteous and respectful at all times * Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential Hours & Pay Monday to Friday – 07:30 until 16:00 28 days AL (including bank holidays)
