Salary: £24,761.88 to £27,011.88
Role Purpose
To support the emotional, physical, and social development of young people within a safe, structured, and nurturing residential environment during night hours. This includes promoting individual rights, dignity, and independence in accordance with internal policies, safeguarding protocols, and national care standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support to Young People
Provide responsive and reassuring care to any young person waking during the night, following established protocols.
Maintain a calm and homely atmosphere conducive to rest and well-being.
Uphold consistent and appropriate boundaries, routines, and behavioural expectations.
Promote healthy sleep patterns and a positive lifestyle.
Support preparation for admissions, transitions, and discharges.
Health, Safety, and Wellbeing
Actively safeguard and protect the welfare of all young people in the home.
Observe, assess, and record behavioural and emotional wellbeing.
