As a Waiter/Bartender at Jesse's House , you will play an essential role in delivering a warm, attentive, and high-quality service to all our members and guests. You will ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining and drinking experience across our main restaurant, waterside terrace, cafés, and event spaces.
You will uphold the service standards of LHG, maintaining professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail at all times. Working closely with the restaurant management team and kitchen, you will ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house, contributing to the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that defines Jesse's.
Areas of Responsibility
Service excellence as per SOPs:
Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service to all members and guests across all F&B outlets.
Be knowledgeable about menu items, daily specials, and beverage options to provide informed recommendations and upselling opportunities.
Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders, ensuring all items are served according to LHG standards
Maintain an organised and efficient workflow throughout service, ensuring smooth coordination with the kitchen and bar teams.
Guest Experience as per SOPs:
Create a welcoming and attentive atmosphere for all guests, anticipating their needs and exceeding expectations.
Respond courteously and efficiently to guest enquiries, feedback, or complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
Uphold LHG commitment to exceptional hospitality and personalised service.
Teamwork:
Work collaboratively with fellow team members, supervisors, and chefs to ensure seamless service delivery.
Support colleagues during busy periods, assisting with tasks such as clearing tables, resetting sections, and delivering orders.
Contribute to a positive and respectful working environment where teamwork and communication are prioritised.
Presentation and standard as per SOPs:
Maintain high standards of personal presentation, grooming, and uniform in line with company policy.
Ensure all tables, service stations, and dining areas are clean, organised, and set according to SOPs.
Handle all glassware, crockery, and equipment with care, reporting any damage or shortages to supervisors.
Health, Safety and Compliance:
Follow all food hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures in accordance with UK regulations and company policy.
Ensure safe and responsible handling of food and beverages at all times.
Report any hazards, accidents, or maintenance issues promptly to the management team.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in a similar role within a quality restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, guest-focused attitude.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and health & safety practices.
A proactive and professional approach with strong attention to detail.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
