This is a hands-on role requiring excellent communication and technical skills.ResponsibilitiesSupport multiple clients across multiple technologiesMentoring of junior team membersConsult with customers and across a cross-team environmentDocumentation and development of designs, processes and proceduresWork within a structured ITIL / ISO20000 IT Service Management environmentWorks directly with client to gather requirements, design solutions, build proof of concepts and implement solutionsExcellent presentation and reporting skills arising from customer facing and on-site experienceVery strong verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills are requiredEscalation point for major incidents/investigationsQualificationsSolid technical aptitude, the ability to work in a team, good people skills and a minimum of 3+ years experience working within a similar technical roleProven experience deploying, supporting and troubleshooting VMWare ESXi & Hyper-VVMWare certifiedDisaster recovery and site replication solutions experience using VMWare Site Recovery ManagerWorking knowledge in networking and security best practices (Cisco Certified preferred)Strong working knowledge of modern Microsoft technologies - Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, AVSInterpreting, understanding and solving complex technical problems/incidentsProject or support delivery experience with client facing backgroundStrong experience across multi-server, standalone and clustered solutionsGood broad technical knowledge across Microsoft Azure and AVSExposure to ITSM Toolsets e.g. ServiceNow, JIRAExperience with backup technologies (e.g. Veeam, Rubrik, Data Protector, and/or CommVault)Company DescriptionVersion 1 has celebrated over 28 years in Technology Services and continues to be trusted by global brands to deliver solutions that drive customer success.
