A small but well established Garage with a well equipped workshop are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our friendly and well established team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide variety of vehicles, maintaining the high standard of workmanship our customers have come to rely on.

Please note: this position is only open to applicants with a minimum of five years’ experience within a garage environment.
Duties
* Conduct vehicle diagnostics, use schematics and mechanical knowledge to accurately identify issues.
* Perform repairs and servicing on a range of vehicles including Cars, vans and motorhomes.
* Repair or replace faulty parts, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
* Maintain detailed and accurate job card records of all work completed and parts used.
* If necessary, provide excellent customer service by clearly explaining the repair process and answering any customer queries professionally.
* Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
Experience & Skills Required
* A minimum of five years’ proven experience in automotive repair or a closely related field (essential).
* Strong knowledge of Diagnostic Scanners, wiring schematics, mechanical systems, and vehicle assembly processes is an advantage.
* Proficiency with maintenance procedures and technical knowhow is a must.
* Knowledge of electrical systems and repair techniques is highly desirable (but not essential).
* Ability to interpret technical manuals and carry out effective troubleshooting.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
* Physical fitness suitable for heavy lifting and working in varied workshop conditions.
