WE’RE HIRING – MECHANICS WANTED

Due to continued growth and our upcoming move to a larger site in Strathaven, CM Motor Group is looking for two experienced mechanics to join our team.

With our new site launching in May 2026, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and be part of the next stage of our expansion.

The role:

We’re looking for reliable, experienced mechanics who are confident working across all areas of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence

* Experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and diagnostics

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills

Desirable (but not essential):

* Experience with auto electrics and diagnostics

*Duties*
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
- Replace or repair faulty components
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functionality

*Qualifications*
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
- Mechanical knowledge is essential
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £34,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
