Our client, a leading franchise-approved car dealership in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, is seeking a skilled and committed Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team.

Main duties:

Performing accurate and high-quality repairs and servicing of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
Diagnosing faults efficiently using in-depth knowledge of vehicle electronics and systems
Mentoring and providing technical assistance to other technicians within the workshop
Ensuring all work is completed safely, and in compliance with health and safety regulations, immediately addressing any issues with customers regarding ongoing or complex vehicle repairs
Maintaining detailed records of repairs, services, and diagnostics performed as a Vehicle Technician
Supporting workshop efficiency by authoring accurate repair estimates and parts requisitions
Contributing to a high standard of customer service by providing technical advice and updates as needed
Continuously developing technical skills through training and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

Fully qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a franchise dealership environment or similar setting
Strong knowledge xrlawcv of vehicle diagnostics, electronics, and system troubleshooting
Valid UK driving licence
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Adaptability to a busy workshop environment, with the capacity to meet targets and deadlines
Motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
