Hoddens Garage is a well-established vehicle repair business serving the local community and a range of commercial clients. With a strong, friendly team in place, we are now looking to recruit an additional team member to support our continued growth.

Hoddens Garage are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. If youre an experienced mechanic with a passion for delivering excellent customer experience and keeping vehicles safe on the road, please reach out.

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, youll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, youll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.

  • £32,000 - £36,000per annum
  • Bonus of upto £5,800 per annum (company performance related)
  • 5 days a week ( no weekends)

Skills and experience

  • Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience)
  • Valid MOT Testing Licence
  • Musthave a full drivers licence with no more than 6 points
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills requiring minimum supervision
  • At least 3 years experience of automotive industry
  • Good understanding of UK vehicle legislation for M3 category vehicles
  • Understanding of FMEA and hazard analysis procedures
  • Has right-to-work in the UK
