Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician

Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 08:00 17:00 (1-hour lunch)
Salary:£22£25 per hour (DOE)

Our client is a highly respected name in the automotive and motorsport industry, with over 35 years of experience in racing, engineering, and vehicle development. They specialise in the design, development and build of race-winning cars, engines and components, using advanced technology and precision engineering.

They are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician to join their well-established workshop, where no two days are the same, carrying out varied diagnostic and complex mechanical repairs across a wide range of vehicles.

Requirements

Essential

• Minimum 5 years experience
• Proven workshop experience
• Strong technical knowledge
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable with good attention to detail
• Team player with good communication skills

Desirable

• Class 4 MOT Tester
• MOT training can be provided if required

The Role

• Head gasket replacement
• Timing belts, chains and wet belts
• Clutch replacements
• Servicing and general repairs
• Diagnostics
• Class 4 MOT testing (if qualified)
• Working on a variety of makes and models
