The Vehicle Painter is responsible for preparing and painting vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition or to meet customer customization requests. The ideal candidate will have expertise in surface preparation, mixing and matching paint, and applying high-quality finishes that meet safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
Mix and match paint colours to ensure a seamless finish.
Apply paint coats using spray guns and other painting equipment.
Inspect finished work to ensure paint coverage, colour match, and overall quality meet standards.
Perform touch-ups and refinishing as needed.
Maintain painting equipment and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
