On their behalf we are recruiting for an experienced and qualified MET Technician to join their prestigious centre in Rochdale. The role is to perform strip and refit of mechanical repairs to damaged vehicles and key responsibilities and skills required include;
Removal and replacement of non-structural damaged partsMechanical component removal & replacementRemove and replace mechanical trim and electrical componentsInspecting vehicles and carrying out mechanical repairs to various vehiclesResponsible for keeping a daily log of job descriptions for work carried outEnsuring that each job has relevant methods attached to the jobAbility to address or solve issues as they arise and seek guidance if requiredSelf motivated to achieve the tasks in within the given time scales & improve service levelsAbility to communicate with colleagues and customers alikeResponsible for keeping a daily log of job descriptions for work carried outAccountable for cleanliness with the work place ensuring a clean tidy work area at all timesAwareness of Customer service ethics and expectations of meeting the customers needs
To be considered for this role the ideal candidate will have;Valid Senior MET ATA Accreditation or City and Guilds EquivalentKey skills in English and Maths & Level 3 in Vehicle maintenanceKnowledge & experience in Auto Electrical & diagnostic repairs. xbpsjku Evacuate and recharge Air Conditioning systems & Removal and refit of SRS components
